Vicenza Medical Services Center in Italy, an affiliate of Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, serves a population of approximately 5,000 personnel. Vicenza is a thriving, vibrant city with a population of nearly 110,000, situated at the foot of the Dolomites and a 45-minute drive west of picturesque, historic Venice.
It is home to Caserma Ederle (Camp Ederle), headquarters of the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force (Airborne), a major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Europe and the only major U.S. Army organization south of the Alps.
